Gage to headline Ice Surge
Dancehall artiste Gage is upbeat about his performance on Sunday at Ice Surge, to be hosted at Cave Valley Square in St Ann, Jamaica.
"I am excited about this event because fans will get a chance to hear my new material and see the new wave that I have been creating," he said. "Most people already know that I have rebranded myself; however, they don't see how it is when I perform these new songs. So Ice Surge is about introducing them to the new Gage, and overall just giving a good account of Jamaican music from the young generation."
Organiser of the event, Denzie Cash, also had high praises for the Throat deejay.
"Gage has been raising eyebrows on social media, he is gaining the respect of fans and also expanding his fan base. This show also features several talented up-and-coming artistes who will excite patrons. So we are asking everybody to turn out," he said.
Ice Surge is a free event and will also feature DJ Dymond, High Tech Sound System and Earth Ruler King. Other attractions includes a dance-off competition, free jello shots and free surge shots.
