Shane O fired up about ‘7 jackets’

Recording artiste Shane O has become the latest entertainer to put the issue of paternity on the front burner, doing so through the release of a new single called 7 Jacket.

"The song, as the name suggests, is about a woman giving Shane O 7 jackets, and how he reacts to the situation," said Kemara White, the song's producer.

It should be noted, however, that the claims made in the song have no basis in reality, even though it calls attention to a very important issue.

In 2019, Polygenics Consulting, a company that offers DNA testing in Jamaica, said that seven in every 10 paternity tests conducted by the lab showed that the men were not the fathers.

Meanwhile, the official music video for 7 Jacket, which was directed by KD Visuals, brings the story to life in a comedic way, with the artiste showcasing his acting abilities. With the entertaining twist and the artiste's charisma, the video has already amassed over 465,000 views so far, and peaked in the top 5 of YouTube's trending chart in Jamaica.

"The track is doing really well right now, it's been trending and going viral online. I hope that it continues to reach a lot of people worldwide so they can have some fun and enjoy the music," the producer said.
