Masta Recka set to release debut album

International recording artiste Masta Recka is looking forward to the release of his debut album which is titled #1.

"I feel very proud about this album. It's been in the works for a while now and I am happy about the finished product. I'm so excited about it, I can't wait to share it with the world," said the artiste. The 11-track album, which is scheduled for a November 4 release, features a fusion of musical genres, including dancehall, Afrobeat and pop.

"I don't believe in limiting myself to one genre of music, so I experimented with a lot of different sounds on this project. I'm a Jamaican deejay living in the US but I make music for the world. This album was created for the international market and I am confident that it will be a huge success," said Masta Recka.

Some of the songs on the album are Touch Street, Destiny, Want Me Be Good and Ghetto John Crow. Produced by Masta Recka, #1 is slated to be released on the ZFEX label, and distributed by Tuff Gong International.
