Dinesty King eyes global market with ‘True Effect’ rhythm
For Dinesty King, the art of creating and manipulating sounds has always been a talent he knew would award him much musical success.
The Falmouth-based producer recently released his 'True Effect rhythm, a collaborative venture with Grass Piece Production, which has grabbed the attention of major music players worldwide, praising the compilation for its authentic dancehall essence. The project features artistes, such as Topmann, with his trending track, Loyalty, Navino and Jah Torus with their Things Coulda Worst collaboration, and Tatik, who has been making a strong impact on social media with his track, Bigger Person.
Dinesty King shared that he and Grass Piece Production went through a careful selection process when he decided to organise the project.
"The artistes that we chose for this beat were very specific because we wanted the beat to give off a certain vibe that was still upbeat enough for a club, but subtle enough for fans to enjoy on a calm, rainy day without feeling bored. We decided to use mostly young artistes because they are hungry for success and anything they go on is usually gold, it just takes the right marketing plan to share their music with the world," he said.
Since the release of the compilation, the rhythm has been trending on Audiomack as one of the platform's best new albums, while Topmann and Tatik are steadily climbing the iTunes charts for Best New Releases among the likes of Skeng, Tommy Lee Sparta and Busy Signal.
With the rhythm steadily gaining momentum in international markets, Dinesty King said that he is also gearing up to shoot and release the video for his Charley Black single, Tonight.
It is the lead track on the Grammy-considered album, Garrison Christmas, which also features artistes like Jahvillani and Lisa Mercedes.
