Prohgres partners with ISPY for basic school outreach

Recording artiste Prohgres has teamed up with the ISPY Foundation (I Support Positive Youths) for a major outreach project at Queenhythe Basic School in St Ann.

As a part of the initiative, the foundation donated $100,000 in cash and installed three 'Be a friend not a bully' benches at the school. These so-called friendship benches are aimed at helping children to battle bullying on the playground.

Queenhythe Basic School also benefited from kitchen supplies, while school bags, pencils and crayons were presented to the students by ISPY.

"It's always a good feeling to put a smile on someone's face, so it is definitely a good feeling to give back to the youth of my community," said the Memory Lane deejay.

He continued: "I used to attend this basic school, and to now contribute to its development is an achievement. ISPY has started something undeniably great and I hope to one day launch my own foundation to give back and continue partnering with foundations such as ISPY."

The ISPY Foundation was created by Allington 'Gumption' Creque, a British Virgin Islands native.

"ISPY is so excited to be able to offer outreach regionally, and the smiling faces show the impact," said Gumption, a philanthropist.
