Lady Da Flame makes EDM ‘Push’

Recording artiste Lady Da Flame expands her creative boundaries by tapping into the EDM market on her new single, ' Push'.

"I believe that EDM music is invigorating and a natural pairing for the uplifting lyrics of Push. Further, I am committed to making relatable music with positive messages of perseverance and strength, no matter the style of music," the singer said. One aspect that pushed Lady Da Flame's EDM journey is the genre's reggae roots.

"You can't go around the fact that EDM spawns from reggae, which draws me to it even more," she explained. "Reggae groomed me into always putting forth reality music. It's always been that special place where I can feel free to sing about how I really feel with real issues that are going on."

Describing the song as electrifying and inspiring, Push is one of Lady Da Flame's most personal releases to date. The singer speaks of many times that she had to 'push' herself to get through a situation. She has great expectations for the record.

"When listeners hear Push, I want them to feel encouraged and motivated. I want them to endure, keep going and complete their goals in life, no matter how small or large they are," the singer stated. With her gospel song God Answers Prayers recently hitting the 10 million streams mark, she believes it's an indicator of infinite possibilities for her and Push.

She has upcoming performances in Queens, Bronx and Long Island, all in New York, as well as Washington, DC. An official music video for Push is also in the works.
