Police charge man for murder of six-year-old St. Ann boy

Detectives attached to the St. Ann’s Bay Criminal Investigation Branch yesterday charged a man for the murder of six-year-old Daniel Anderson.

Charged is 24-year-old Vinel Brown of Mount Edgecombe district in Runnaway Bay, St. Ann.

Daniel was reported missing on Sunday, November 15.

His mutilated body was found with a wound to the head in a gully in Mount Edgecombe district a day later.

Brown, who faced an identification parade on Monday, November 30, is to appear before the St. Ann’s Bay Resident Magistrate’s Court on Friday, December 4.

Investigations continue.
