No lettuce! KFC Jamaica warns of temporary shortage

Customers may have to go without lettuce in certain KFC meals as the fast-food chain grapples with a supply shortage.

 KFC Jamaica has issued an "IMPORTANT NOTICE" to customers, revealing that a number of its restaurants are currently experiencing a shortage of lettuce.

 According to the company, the shortage is linked to significant production challenges being faced by its sole vegetable supplier during the ongoing drought.

 As a result, the availability of lettuce in certain meals will be temporarily impacted.

 KFC Jamaica said it is working with its supplier to resolve the issue “as quickly as possible”, while apologising to customers for the inconvenience.

 The company also thanked customers for their *patience and understanding as efforts continue to address the shortage.
