Men found burnt to death in minibus

The Area 1 Major Investigations Division is seeking the public's assistance in identifying one of two burnt remains found in a silver Nissan Urvan minibus in Ashton district, Westmoreland, on Monday.

Reports are that at about 10 a.m., lawmen were alerted to the burnt-out minibus with the remains inside. On the arrival of the lawmen, the scene was processed and the remains of 27-year-old Mofolumeso Adunfa, otherwise called 'Chris', of Rochester Avenue, Kingston 8, and a man known only as 'Abdul', were removed to the morgue pending post-mortem examinations.

The police are now seeking assistance in identifying the body of 'Abdul', who is believed to be of Nigerian nationality.

Anyone with information that can assist the police in positively identifying the man known only as 'Abdul' is being asked to contact the Area 1 Major Investigations Division at 954-3222, the Bethel Town police at 957-1658, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
