Fatal accident in Clarendon
A 44-year-old man who was involved in a motor vehicule accident along the Hayes main road on Tuesday evening succumbed to his injuries and died yesterday morning at the May Pen Hospital.
According to the Hayes police, Micheal Brown of a Hayes address was travelling in a white Toyota Corolla station wagon motor car around 8:20 p.m. heading south when his car collided into the back of a parked truck.
Brown was then rushed to the Lionel Town Hospital before being transfered to the May Pen Hospital where he died.
"He (Brown) was one of two passengers in the motor car that crashed in the parked truck along the Hayes main Road last night," said a cop, who is investigating the accident.
He added that the parked truck was adequately lit with reflective lights and the accident was avoidable.
