Gangster sentenced to hard labour
A man said to be a member of the Clansman Gang was sentenced to nine years' hard labour in the St Catherine Circuit.
He is Aston Daley, otherwise call 'Daley Bwoy', of Shelter Rock, Spanish Town, St Catherine. Attorney Kimani Brydson told the court that his client has already spent two years in custody.
Brydson added that Daley did not want to waste the court's time and pleaded guilty to the offence.
The judge then ruled Daley should serve seven years' imprisonment. Daley had pleaded guilty to being a member of a criminal gang in February.
He was on the St Catherine North police's wanted list for over a year before he was held in a section of the parish.
