Elderly man killed in car crash

The Falmouth police say they are yet to identify an elderly man who died as a result of a car crash last Wednesday.

Reports are that at about 10:45 p.m. a car was travelling from Falmouth towards Duncans in Trelawny when it is alleged that the man stepped into the path of the vehicle and was hit.

The man, who is of dark complexion and is about 5 feet 6 inches tall, died later because of injuries he sustained.

The man is assumed to be in his mid-60s and was wearing a black shirt and a pair of black jeans.

The police are appealing to anyone who may have any information or can assist in any way to contact the Falmouth police at 954-3271, or police emergency at 119.
