Man locks himself in house, sets it on fire

A Manchester man is suspected of committing suicide after he locked himself in his house before setting it on fire.
THE WEEKEND STAR understands that the man, Basil Coley, who is 89 years old, was apparently suffering from depression.
It is said that Coley started to experience symptoms of depression shortly after he did a surgery a few weeks before.
It was reported that on June 3, at about 8:30 p.m., Coley, who is from Perth Close in Mandeville, locked himself in his house and set it ablaze.
The police were summoned to the scene and his body recovered and removed.
The police's Corporate Communications Unit has confirmed the incident.
Investigations are ongoing.
