Man stabbed to death in early morning altercation

A conflict between two men in Golden Grove, St Thomas, turned deadly early yesterday morning.

According to reports, Stephen Knight, 27, was stabbed and killed in his hometown community of Duckenfield district, at approximately 12:15 a.m.

Knight was allegedly involved in a dispute with another man when a knife was brought into play and used to stab him.

Police personnel attached to the Golden Grove Police Station were called and both men were rushed to the hospital, where Knight was pronounced dead and the other man, whose identity is being withheld, was treated and released into police custody.
