Four killed in Clarendon
Four persons were shot and killed on Saturday night in Clarendon in separate shooting incidents.
The first incident took place at about 7:45 p.m. in the Sandy Bay area where six persons were shot by unknown assailants with three succumbing to their injuries.
Dead are 48-year-old Warren Douglas, 27-year-old Havana Baddal both of Busy Park, St Catherine, as well as 17-year-old Kevan Reece, a student of Inverness Drive.
Reports are that all six were at a community shop when men armed with high powered guns came out of nearby bushes and opened fire at patrons.
When the shooting subsided, several persons were found suffering from gunshot wounds. They were rushed to the May Pen Hospital where Douglas, Reece and Baddal were all pronounced dead.
About one hour later gunmen again struck in the Canaan Heights area of May Pen where 40-year-old mason Keith Alexander was shot and killed.
Alexander was walking home through a track when he was ambushed by gunmen who opened fire, hitting him.
Citizens alerted the police who rushed him to the hospital, however Alexander was pronounced dead on arrival.
