Pregnant tennis star Serena Williams has pinpointed the 2018 Australian Open as her most likely return to the sport after giving birth.

Williams was in the stands at the French Open in Paris on Friday as her sister Venus advanced to fourth round of the competition after defeating Belgium's Elise Mertens in their third round match 6-3, 6-1.

Williams announced her pregnancy in April. She is engaged to Alexis Ohanian.

Williams won her 23rd grand slam title at the Australian Open.
