A woman has forked out PS6,000 on her pet pooch's hen party.
Helen Turner wanted to give her Chihuahua, Chi Chi, an extravagant bash before she got hitched to her Pomeranian lover Harvey, so splashed out on a limo, a naked butler and a canine stripper. Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, Helen said: "I went all out with the hen party - I wanted to give her a great send-off into married life. I hired a pink limousine to take Chi Chi and her girlfriends from my house to the salon I run, and I made the whole shop completely pink. I had a butler in the buff to serve the dogs smoked salmon canapEs, and two waitresses dressed as flamingos to hand out doggy cocktails made from chicken stock." Phil Hendra was left stunned when he arrived at his dad's house in Fort Myers, Florida, to find the creature chilling by the front door, before lying down for a series of photographs. Phil, who had another run-in with a young panther nearly 30 years ago, told the Research Institute: "It stayed for about 20 minutes and laid down for a bit. It looked at us inside the window then slowly walked away, and we have not seen it since.
"My parents have lived here since 1988 and they may have seen a younger panther about two years ago, but nothing compares to this once-in-a- lifetime experience."

Two years ago, she couldn't even pull herself out of a chair, but now 78-year-old Shirley Webb can heave up more than 225lbs (16st) - much to the astonishment of friends and family who used to watch her struggle to climb up and down stairs. Shirley, from East Alton, Illinois, was determined to make a change and build her strength with the help of her personal trainer, John Wright. He posted a video of the grandmother - that has gone viral - on Instagram and said: "Shirley is 78 years old but she can deadlift 225 pounds three times." Shirley told ESPN: "When I go to the gym and work out, when I leave, I feel so much better than I did when I went in; and I just feel so good."

An excited pet pooch interrupted its performance to leave a package on the set of the show 'Domingao do Faustao', because he got too excited at the site of a large audience. The animal, who had been trained to run along a track beside its schoolgirl owner, failed to execute the routine as practised. One Twitter user who witnessed the event, wrote: "One of the most popular news topics now is a dog pooping on Domingao do Faustao. World, stop."
