John Mayer admits he has a poor "track record" when it comes to dating celebrities.

The 40-year-old star who has previously dated the likes of Taylor Swift, Jessica Simpson, Katy Perry and Jennifer Aniston made the self-deprecating remark during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, during which he joked with the TV host that his friend Jennifer Lawrence won't date.

Mayer quipped: "You have a lot of friends who, without you, would want nothing to do with me and I find that exciting! You know what I mean?" he said. "Look, I don't have the world's greatest track record when it comes to celebrity relationships, so it's amazing to watch your friends humour me on a friend level, but also keep a fair distance from me."

Sandra Bullock says the impact of Hurricane Katrina convinced her to adopt children.

The 53-year-old actress has two adopted children Louis, eight, and Laila, five and Sandra has admitted that it wasn't until the deadly tropical storm struck the US in 2005 that she became convinced parenthood was her destiny.

A teary-eyed Bullock whose son was born in New Orleans, which was devastated by the natural disaster explained: "I did think, 'Maybe not'. Then [Hurricane] Katrina happened. I'm going to cry ... Katrina happened in New Orleans and something told me, 'My child is there.' It was weird."

Despite her initial doubts about becoming a parent, Bullock whose divorce from Jesse James was finalised in 2010 immediately felt comfortable with her child in her arms.

"I looked at him like, 'Oh, there you are.' It was like he had always been there. He fit in the crook of my arm. He looked me in the eyes. He was wise," she said.

Bullock was initially unsure about what to expect from motherhood.

But the Ocean's 8 star admitted that much of the advice she's received over the years only made sense the moment she looked at her child for the first time.

Channing Tatum has vowed to lead a Magic Mike Live show once he gets in top shape again.

The 38-year-old actor portrayed the titular character Mike Lane in the 2012 comedy-drama movie, which follows the life of a male stripper and his life at the club, and reprised the role again for the 2015 sequel Magic Mike XXL.

Following the success of the two films which are loosely based on the Hollywood star's own experiences of working as a stripper in Tampa, Florida Channing created and co-directed Magic Mike Live, a striptease experience featuring dance routines and acrobatic stunts, which has been hugely popular since opening at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas in 2017.

He is now bringing the show to London later this year and while launching the stage spectacular in Piccadilly Circus on Monday, he revealed he will strip again as his alter ego on stage but only when his abs are back.
