The 33-year-old singer almost lost her beloved dog Nugget a few days ago when the teacup poodle fell off the star's bed, and was unresponsive for three minutes.
Perry's assistant Tamra then saved the day, however, when she performed CPR on the tiny dog and managed to bring her back from the brink.
In a video shared by the 'Swish Swish' singer, Tamra said: "I pushed on her little chest and I blew in her mouth and I brought her back to life."
Tamra added that she learnt the life saving trick after watching a recent viral video in which a squirrel was resuscitated after being electrocuted.
After the terrifying incident, Perry took her pup to the vet. In more recent videos, the poodle seems to be back to her usual bouncy self.
'The Hunger Games' star is reportedly dating New York art gallery director Cooke Maroney, but has so far managed to keep the relationship under the radar.
According to the New York Post's Page Six column, Lawrence, 27, was apparently introduced to Maroney believed to be 33 by her best friend Laura Simpson.
A source said: "They met through Jen's friend Laura. The relationship has been going on a few weeks. But they have been very private and careful not to be seen together."
Maroney works at New York's Gladstone Gallery. He is known on the art party scene and previously worked at the prestigious Gagosian gallery.
Lawrence's relationship comes just months after she split from Mother! director Darren Aronofsky, 49, last November after dating for about a year.
Whitney Houston's bible is being sold for US$95,000.
The I Have Nothing hitmaker left the holy book behind when she moved out of her Newport Beach luxury rental in 2011 a year before she was found dead in her bathtub and now her former landlord is planning to flog it for the hefty price tag.
The owner told TMZ he found the bible in a box with some clothes and CDs by the bin after the legendary singer moved out and, although he tried to contact Houston's agent at the time about the items, he was told he could keep them if he wanted them.
The man whose identity is not known sold the house in 2012 and "threw out other stuff Whitney had left behind except the bible because he thought it was interesting".
