Ninjaman reassures concerned fans that his health is stable
A post made on Ninjaman's Instagram page a few days ago, still has some fans of the veteran dancehall artiste worried.
The post shows him lying in a hospital bed connected to an electrocardiogram (ECG) machine. "Back in the hospital but BADMAN can't dead #robot," the post read.
Some social media users were curious to find out know what was wrong with the artiste.
"I have a teeth with a slight irritation and me go eat a mango and never drink no water. It cause some gas interruption, upset stomach and vomiting. Me go a di hospital fi mek sure everything alright and me jus do a physical check up same time. Me check everything so all dem string, string deh a fi test me heart," he told THE STAR.
While some wanted to know what happened, others took the time to wish him a speedy recovery.
"Get well soon in Jesus name," one person wrote.
His dancehall rival Gully Bop also used the social media tool to send him a recovery message.
"Get well brother,bless uppp and RESPECT," he wrote.
Fellow dancehall artiste Macka Diamond also used her own Instagram page to send good wishes to Ninjaman.
"Wishing my big brother a speedy recovery ppl our work ain't easy the glamour and the glitter its not a bed a rose let's pray for the gorgon nuff love get well soon," Macka wrote.
But when THE STAR contacted Ninjaman today, he was in good spirits.
"Me might sick but me cyaan dead. God need me and the country need me so me nah dead," he said.
"A now me know say people really love me and care fi me. People no stop call. It was not anything too great. So to my fans me love di whole a oonu," Ninjaman added.
