Barbadian beauty, Rihanna was Spotify’s most streamed female artiste in 2015, even without releasing an album.
Spotify is a digital music service that gives users access to millions of songs.
According to Vanity Fair Online, it has been an interesting 2015 for Rihanna.
Her last album ‘Unapologetic’ was released in 2012.
THE STAR gathered that she released three singles this year, “Four Five Seconds,” in January, “Bitch Better Have My Money,” in March, and “American Oxygen,” in April, yet none of the three were followed, as many hoped or assumed, with an album release.
Spotify, however has released its end-of-year data, and Rihanna was the most streamed female artiste, worldwide, with over 1 billion streams and 57 million listeners.
Meanwhile, Drake was the most streamed male artiste this year with 1.8 billion streams and 46 million listeners.
