While the whole world seems unwilling to forgive Steve Harvey for his now infamous Miss Universe blunder, at least one group is willing to let him be the host of their next pageant.

Belize Tourism Board, organizers of the La Reina de la Costa Maya Pageant, used Twitter to ask Steve Harvey to host the 2016 staging of the pageant.

"Dear @IAMSteveHarvey, we all make mistakes. You handled yours with class. Would you host our next pageant? @CostaMayaFest #MissUniverse2015," the organization tweeted.

The tweet which has already racked up over two hundred likes and retweets, has surprised many who thought that Sunday night's blunder at the Miss Universe pageant would put a dent in Steve Harvey's career.

The La Reina de la Costa Maya Pageant is part of the annual Costa Maya Festival, Belize's biggest festival which is a week-end long celebration of the Mayan culture in Central America.

This year's pageant featured participants from Belize, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama which are all Central American countries.

Steve Harvey has not responded to the request to host the 2016 staging of the  La Reina de la Costa Maya Pageant in Belize.
