Patrons to rock 'Pan Di Plaza'

January 30, 2016

Charley's JB Overproof Rum will be on board for the second staging of 'Pan Di Plaza' tonight at Lyndhurst Plaza in St Andrew.

The event is an authentic dancehall experience, which is expected to pull hundreds of patrons, who will rock the night away to a full line-up of dancehall hits.

Pietro Gramegna, marketing manager for white spirits at J Wray & Nephew Limited, said Charley's JB Overproof Rum decided to make 'Pan Di Plaza' its first co-sponsored event in Kingston for 2016 because of the unique experience for patron.

"The brand is well-known and loved in the west, so we are bringing the rebelution to Kingston at an event that delivers a memorable experience to true dancehall fans."

The open-air venue will recreate Jamaica's grassroots, true rebellious dancehall atmosphere with zinc fence decor and column sounds.

Adrian Wilson, one of the promoterst, said the first staging of 'Pan Di Plaza', in September, was well received by patrons with many requesting that the event be held again.

Gates open at 11 p.m. Admission is $500, women free before 1 am. Patrons will be treated to Charley's JB Rum Q specials all night.

Music by DJs Chromatic, Richie Feelings, Flabba Dabba & Ikel and Cruise. There will be a guest surprise artiste.
