Sikka Rymes shows off ‘custom’ Benz

Dancehall artiste Sikka Rymes is parading what he considers his newest achievement, a Mercedes-Benz CLA 250, in his music video for the song Custom.

The visuals see the entertainer showing off his matte black customised ride, licence plates included, and a pair of customised Dolce & Gabbana sneakers. The song bears an overall theme of the artiste putting in the work to have these luxurious treats.

"I know it's been a tough year for a lot of people due to the pandemic so for me to be able to still produce good music and enjoy the comforts of my hard work during these times is a blessing and something I am proud to be able to accomplish, especially in a time when things are harder to progress," Sikka Rymes told THE STAR.

Custom is produced by his label Sikk Records and the video has received more than 80,000 views since its premiere on YouTube on September 24. The artiste said that he was led to write about this milestone as he is "always inspired by my reality and often write about my real-life experiences".

Though he said he doesn't have expectations for his music, he is satisfied with the project's feedback.

"It's a good vibe song so the fans are enjoying it and the reception has been great as a result," he said. In the meantime, Sikka Rymes is working on his debut album which he hopes to release soon with "exciting features". He released his debut EP Love Di People in 2019. It was produced by Genesis Hull.

"I am also bringing back the 'Upmove' merchandise and will have some new designs and items that you will soon be able to purchase on my website, so I think the fans are going to love that also," he said.
