St Lukes Church presents the third staging of their annual concert, Reggage Jazz and Blues Gospel Act 111, at the Jamaica College Auditorium, starting 5 p.m. Featuring Kevin Downswell and his band, reggae gospel performer Gem Myers, Jazz pianist Seretse Small and Harold Davis alongside Grace Jervis and Mary Issacs. Admission $2,000. All proceeds go towards the outreach projects.
RasTakura presents the sixth staging of Dispoem, Wordz & Agro Festival, in honour of the founder of dub poetry, Oku Onuora. Venue: Students Pavillion, The College of Agriculture, Science and Education, Portland. Seed fi seeds exchange, patrons are asked to bring organic heirloom traditional seeds. Admission free, donations accepted at the gate.
