Motivate yourself to exercise today!

November 02, 2015

Many of us have a list of reasons why we can't regularly exercise.

Some include not enough time before or after work, I don't know how or where to start, I find it boring or I'm too tired.

Motivation is something we should seek daily, living in an Internet age this can be found one click away. Motivation can ignite the fire within us that pushes us to do things we didn't plan for or thought wasn't possible. Surrounding yourself with persons who are more driven than yourself will push you to doing more.

Not enough time before or after work: If you have poor health you will eventually be less efficient at your job and probably eventually unable to do your job. Finding time before work, means getting up slightly earlier than usual in order to do a 15 minute walk and a round of sit ups. Or going to bed a little later making time to do some jumping jacks and press ups.

I don't know how or where to start: Not knowing how to do something doesn't mean you will never be able to do it. Go to a sports field or a gym, socialise with individuals who are committed to exercise you will be amazed how quickly you can pick up tips and pointers in order to come up with your very own program.

I find it boring: Exercise doesn't need to be boring. You can make it fun by tying it to a sport you enjoy watching. Exercise doesn't just mean getting on a treadmill or bicycle, it can be as unconventional as flipping a car tire, all is required is consistent movement of some kind.

I'm too tired: Pushing yourself to just start is likely to result in you feeling more energised once you get started. Exercise will help the body to become more energetic.
