Good health, exercise go hand in hand

Most things in life require effort for success; studying for an exam increases the chances of passing. Success requires that you to do the things you have to do whether you feel like doing it or not.

Good health and exercise go hand in hand. Scientists and doctors constantly state that having an active lifestyle will reduce the chances of diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, cancer and many more. Therefore, you must exercise, you must get out of bed whether you feel like it or not, you must find time even if you just had a child and you're a single parent, you must find time even if you work ridiculous hours per week, you must find that time.

When you exercise, the body releases 'feel good' hormones called endorphins. Therefore, once you push yourself through completing a workout, you will feel good and energised after.

According to Professor Steve Peters, the natural human thought process first comes with an emotional and logical attachment; for example, it is raining outside but you had planned to exercise. The emotional response would be, 'I don't feel like exercising anymore; however, the logical part of the brain catches up after time; for example, 'I still need to exercise whether it's raining or not because I need to reduce my risk of hypertension and becoming overweight.'

Understanding how the brain works can assist you in making more logical decisions. I strongly advised planning ahead so you can incorporate exercise in your daily routine.

Try to surround yourself with persons who are already ahead of you in achieving their healthy-lifestyle goals. Creating good habits will make things easier. If you do the same things constantly for more than 21 days, it will become a regular part of your life.
