A new mother has ran a marathon in record time whilst pushing her newborn in a pram.

Jessica Bruce crossed the finish line of Abingdon marathon with her seven-month-old son Daniel and husband David in just over three hours, the Daily Telegraph newspaper reports.

She said: "Daniel was absolutely brilliant. He slept until about 20 miles and was then just looking around. We had a nappy change and a puncture repair kit with us, but we didn't need it. We didn't stop." It is thought Jessica will soon be the record holder for the fastest woman to run a marathon whilst pushing a buggy.

Three men who are in a relationship together want to have kids.

Shayne Curran and Sebastian Tran, both 29, and Adam Grant, 27, have lived together in Nova Scotia, Canada as a 'throuple' since 2012 and plan to use their sisters as surrogates. Adam and Shayne were initially married, but divorced so that they could bring Sebastian equally into the fold. Shayne explained: "We want to mix our genes enough so that our kids are as genetically close to us as possible ... . We all sleep in a king-size bed together."

Thrill-seekers looking for a theme park have found themselves over 180 miles away in a quiet village.

Resident Steve West has put up posters at the local train station to warn visitors they are in Alton, Hampshire, and not anywhere near the theme park - which is in Stafford - the Daily Star newspaper reports. The notice reads: "Directions to Alton Towers from this station. Take the first available South West Trains service to Waterloo, take the underground Northern Line to Euston Mainline Station. Catch the next train to Stoke-on-Trent. From outside Stoke-on-Trent railway station, join the number 14 or 15 bus. Alton Towers is then but a short hour and ten minute bus ride. Approximate journey time ... four hours and 46 minutes."
