Police seek help to identify body

Investigators are trying to determine the identity of a man whose body was found on the border of Manchester and St Elizabeth, along the Gutters main road, yesterday morning.

Information reaching THE STAR is that passers-by saw the body at about 7 a.m. and summoned the police to the scene.

Our news team gathered that the body had a gunshot wound to the head.

The scene along the busy thoroughfare resulted in a pile-up along the roadway, which forced the police to divert traffic.

The Corporate Communications Unit (CCU) confirmed reports and told our news team that investigation into the matter is ongoing.
