A man who was part of a group that broke into a Mother's restaurant located in downtown Kingston and stole three Smart TVs and a laptop will be sentenced on July 2.

Charged with shop breaking and larceny is Rashawn White.

He pleaded guilty yesterday after the court was told that his actions were caught on camera.

The court was told the accused and others stole three Samsung Smart TVs valued at $134,000 and one Dell laptop.

The value of the laptop was not mentioned.

The court also heard that the three television sets were found during a search of White's home after the police watched the footage and recognised him.

Parish Judge Chester Crooks told the accused that he would consider the fact that he pleaded guilty and also the time spent in jail before his sentencing.

He was further remanded and a social-enquiry report was requested along with his criminal records.
