2,000 pounds of ganja found in Portmore house

More than 2,000 pounds of ganja was found at a premises in West Cumberland in Portmore, St Catherine, yesterday.

According to reports, at approximately 6:30 a.m., the Counter-Terrorism and Organised Crime investigation Branch conducted a search at the location, when the ganja weighing approximately 2,300 pounds wrapped in several transparent plastic bags found inside a room. The illicit drug has an estimated street value of $10 million.

It is said that a man who was at the property was arrested. A high-end vehicle was also seized.
