St George's College moved three points clear at the top of Group C of the ISSA/Flow Manning Cup with a 7-0 drubbing of Kingston Technical High yesterday.

The win lifted the Bertis Bell-coached school to 19 points, three more than Denham Town High and Innswood High. The latter have played just seven games, however, while St George's and Denham have earned their points from eight matches.

Yesterday Innswood dropped a crucial two points when they drew 2-2 with Ardenne at Ardenne Road.

Outspoken Innswood coach, Anthony Thompson, was very upset with the result.

He blasted his team for missing scoring chances, as well as "defensive" Ardenne who, he argued, were "not going anywhere."

"My team just threw away this game and all of the opportunity. That is not what I am playing for (to be second or third in the group), I am playing to go to FLOW Super Cup and I am playing to win the zone," he told STAR Sports.

"This is very disappointing. I don't think Ardenne played anything to score two goals today," Thompson said.

Ardenne went ahead yesterday courtesy of a Ronaldo Howard header in the 11th minute. Innswood bounced right back through a 35th minute header from leading scorer Akeem Gibbons with his fifth goal.

Malik Beckford gave Innswood the lead but Ardenne's Shamar Bennett slammed in a 52nd minute penalty to earn a point for his team.
