Duncans wins first Trelawny primary school volleyball game

DUNCANS All Age and host Salt Marsh Primary made history on Wednesday when they were the only schools to participate in the inaugural Trelawny/Jamaica Volleyball Association (JaVA)/Phillip Greenland Developmental Volleyball Championship at Salt Marsh near the parish capital, Falmouth.

Last-minute cancellation by three other schools resulted in these two playing the best of three eight-minutes-per-half-match sets that saw Duncans prevailing 31-22 and 30-26 in straight sets.

The return and deciding Leg is set for Duncans All Age on Thursday, November 5, starting 9 a.m.

Both teams are guaranteed a spot in the National Finals on Friday, November 27 at a venue to be announced.
