Santos make third straight Golden League final

Santos defeated Dunns All Stars 1-0 to reach their third straight league final and will meet Kings who also clipped Real Mona 1-0 in the 2016 Bull Investment/Cable Pro Data Services sponsored Golden League Football Competition.

In the knockout semi-final played at NWC Playing field, Park Rovers stop Nautica 2-0 and Harbour View defeated Kush 5-2 in penalty shoot out after both teams played to a 1-1 full and extra time draw.

Santos had to dig deep to clip an attaching Dunns All Stars. Former double league champions Park Rover, who are seeking they third straight trophy, having won the league in 2014 and 2015, defeated Nautica 2-0.

They will meet Harbour View who defeated Kush 5-2 in penalty shoot-out, after both teams played to a 1-1 full and extra time draw.

Rohan McDermott scored both goals in regular time as he gave Harbour View the lead in 10th minute. He also scored an own goal in the 21st minute to level the score.

The final will be played on Sunday, April 24, with Harbour View meeting Park Rovers in the knockout final at 3 p.m. and Santos meeting Kings in the league finals at 4:30 p.m. at the NWC Playfield, Mona.
