Three Jamaicans have been included in a 14-man squad assembled by West Indies head coach, Phil Simmons, for a one-week high-performance camp at the Three W's Oval in Barbados.

The three are batsmen Jermaine Blackwood and John Campbell along with leg-spinner Damion Jacobs.

The camp is focusing on batting and spin bowling as West Indies look ahead to the upcoming Test match schedule.

The training sessions, which started on the weekend, are being conducted under the guidance of Simmons.

West Indies are due to play four Tests against India in July and August in the Caribbean and three Tests away to Pakistan in September and October.

Another camp for the West Indies squad for the tri-nation 50-over series will be held later this month.

The players for that camp will be named in the coming days.
