@Normal:New Manchester United's new manager Jose Mourinho.

Sprint megastar Usain Bolt, a lifelong fan of Manchester United, supports the sacking of manager Louis van Gaal while tipping former Chelsea coach, José Mourinho, to succeed at the English Premier League giants.

Bolt who is a six-time Olympic gold medallist and the fastest man ever over the sprints has had a deep love for the English club since the days of legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

He was even reportedly offered a trial at Old Trafford by Ferguson.

"Yeah definitely," Bolt said yesterday when asked if he is happy to see the back of Dutchman Van Gaal at Manchester United.

"I think (José) Mourinho knows how to win championships, it might not be the way I want to win championships, it might be a slow pace and more defensive game, but as long as he brings a championship I am sure the fans will be happy about it," Bolt told STAR Sports.

Bolt who was speaking at the Digicel Bring the Beat Campaign, held at the Terra Nova Hotel in New Kingston yesterday was quick to add, however, that he doesn't know if he will still look to go on trial at Man United after he hangs up his spikes.
