The draw for netball competition for next year's Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia, will take place next Wednesday at Surfers Paradise Esplanade in Australia.

The Commonwealth Games will be held from April 4-15.

The ceremony will be available to stream live on the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games 2018 Facebook Page: www.facebook.com/gc2018

The GC2018 Netball Competition will be based on two pools of six teams. During the preliminary-round phase of the competition, each team will play every other team in their pool in a round-robin format.

The drawing of teams into pools will be based on the International Netball Federation (INF) World Rankings for the top six ranked teams. The remaining teams will be drawn into each pool randomly, with the INF to oversee this process. Shortly after the draw, and once approved by the INF, the detailed competition schedule will be released to the media and public either through email communication or via the GC2018 website and social channels.

The top 12 teams in the world have qualified for the netball competition and include Australia, New Zealand, England, Jamaica, South Africa, Malawi, Fiji, Wales, Uganda, Northern Ireland, Barbados, and Scotland.
