Molynes Utd, Central Kingston clash at Winchester today

Favourites Molynes United will be seeking their second straight victory in the Magnum/KSAFA Super League when they take on Central Kingston today at Winchester Park starting at 3 p.m.

The Calvert Fitzgerald-coached Molynes United will enter today's contest full of confidence, having defeated demoted Premier League side Maverley/Hughenden 3-1 in their opening game.

Fitzgerald said he is very confident that they will give a good account of themselves today.

"We are expecting it to be a competitive game, but I am confident that we will go out and give a good account of ourselves and win the game," said Fitzgerald.

"I am expecting a tough game from Central Kingston because they are a very good ball playing team with a lot of experienced players in their line-up," Fitzgerald said.

Molynes United will rest their hopes in the hands of Jeremy Nelson, Nicholas Nelson, Ross Burton and Lennworth Pine to lead their charge to victory.

On the other hand, Kebble Allen, president of Central Kingston, who drew their opening game against Mountain View 0-0, said they are confident of victory.

"Our expectations are quite high because we are expecting a very competitive game from Molynes United," said Allen.

"We heard that Molynes United is a very robust team, so we are expecting a very physical encounter," he said.

Allen added: "I think we are very confident because the players have been training very hard because training have been very intense everyday."

Central Kingston will be relying heavily on Kemar Cummings, who was transferred from the Premier League outfit UWI this week, along with St George's College Manning Cup star Akeem Robotham and Joel Nicholas.

In another intriguing contest set for the Bell/Chung Oval, Maverley/Hughenden will play away to hosts Santos at 3p.m.

In the opening match of the double-header, at 1:00p.m. Rae Town will oppose Maxfield Park. Associate sponsors Charles Chocolate will be on hand to provide spectators with complimentary gifts.

Meanwhile, in the day's other games, Mountain View will oppose Pembroke Hall at Stadium East, Rockfort will hosts Real Mona at Rockfort and Barbican will play away to Browns Town at Vauxhall High School.
