John Legend slams Trump

Cardi B suffered complications after baby's birth

Twenty five-year-old rapper Cardi B gave birth to her daughter Kulture Kiari - whom she has with husband Offset - almost two months ago, and has now revealed she was left battling "unanticipated" complications after the pregnancy, which contributed to her decision to drop out of Bruno

Mars' upcoming tour.

Cardi's confession came in documents obtained by The Blast from the rapper and her attorneys which ask for more time to hand over legal papers as part of an ongoing lawsuit where the rapper is being sued over an album cover.

Her attorneys state in the papers: "[Cardi] gave birth to a baby girl in mid-July, but has suffered unanticipated post-partum complications sufficiently serious enough to cause her, among other things, to have

to cancel an upcoming and much-publicized tour, performing with Bruno Mars.

"Her condition also made it impracticable for her to fully participate, for some weeks, in completing factual investigation and complete the pending jurisdictional discovery."

John Legend slams Trump

John Legend has branded US President Donald Trump a "really terrible person" who "shouldn't be" in charge of the country.

The 'All of Me' hitmaker has been a vocal critic of the US leader and he insists he is right to use his public platform to condemn the political landscape because the former 'Apprentice' star "deserves" it.

He said: "He deserves the criticism. He's done some awful things, and I think he's a really terrible person as well.

"I think he's selfish, he's racist, he's misogynist, he's a liar, probably the worst liar we've even seen in public life, really ill-informed, a narcissist... I could go on!

"But I think it's clear he's an awful person and shouldn't be president."

The 39-year-old singer has crossed paths with his friend Kanye West over their differing attitudes towards the president and he's urged the 'All Day' rapper to take a closer look at Trump's policies and how they affect people.

Speaking on UK TV show 'This Morning', he said: "It's not an uncommon thing for people to disagree politically... but I'm right and he's wrong!

"And what I was pointed out [to Kanye] is that it doesn't matter if you like this guy personally, what matters is what he's doing in office.

"One of the things he's chosen to do is use the office as a tool... to say we don't want certain immigrants to come from certain countries because they don't look a certain way, treating immigrants like they are animals, separating their families..

Janet Jackson didn't feel sexy until her 30s.

The Way Love Goes' hitmaker, Janet Jackson, who had her first marriage, to James DeBarge, annulled when she was 19 and went on to wed Rene Elizondo Jr. for nine years from 1991, and businessman Wissam Al Mana for five years until they split in April 2017, admitted entering therapy helped her to feel better about herself and realise she wasn't as "bad" as she thought.

Jackson also had a seven-year relationship with Jermaine Dupri from 2002 to 2009.

Asked when she first felt sexy, she said: "I would say not until I was well into my 30s. I got out of a funky relationship and finally got back to me.

"I went to therapy, which was all about finding that thing you like about yourself.

"The realisation that, you know what, you're not so bad after all. I'm not saying you're great or you're the best, but it's not as bad as you were made to feel that it was."

And Janet - who has son Eissa, 18 months, with Wissam - admitted her negative feelings stemmed from a bad relationship.

She explained: "Loving that someone and trusting that someone, you believe that person when they tell you [things]. You think they're being as honest with you as you are with them. It was all to control the brain. That was around the time of (2001 album) 'All for You'."

The 'Together Again' singer found therapy helped her accept her body but she admitted she initially found it tough to find anything about her appearance that she liked.

She admitted to America's InStyle magazine: "I had to find something in my body that I loved, and that was difficult for me to do.

"At first, I couldn't find anything. I would look in the mirror and start crying. I didn't like that I was not attractive. I didn't like anything about me.

"But I wound up falling in love with the small of my back. And then from there I found more things.

"And then finally realising my smile isn't that bad after all. I thought I looked like the Joker because it was so big."
