Mussbuss heads into video production
Music industry public relations and artiste development company MussBuss Imaging, has now broken into the field of video production, with the objective of producing low budget, high quality HD videos for upcoming and developing artistes.
The company's CEO and founder Camille 'Mussbuss' Kirlew, from Kingston, has always been dedicated to assisting the development of upcoming artistes matriculating into the mainstream of the local music scene, by offering a wide array of public relation services at a reduced cost as many upcoming artiste lack the financial resources necessary to acquire the exposure and tools necessary to get that elusive "buss".
She has worked with developed artistes such as Teflon, Hezron, Iwayne, Jah Cure, and upcoming artistes such as Ras Ajai, Culture Wise, Bussweh, Anicon, Biggaton, Sashae, Trimma and a host of others.
"I wanted to get into the video production arena out of a need to induce a higher level of creativity and production for upcoming artiste, where videos are concerned, as having a quality video is an important promotional tool as they offer both visual and audio experience. Thus making a more memorable impression on the minds of viewing public, as opposed to just audio alone," Kirlew said. "Many upcoming artistes, because of budgetary limitations, opt for lesser quality videos, that are usually rejected upon submission, not because of content, but because of the low quality. So I have collaborated with an oversees video producer and others locally to ensure that regardless the budget, the artistes will obtain a high quality HD video, that satisfies international standards."
