Nickapella, Jahmiel spread hope with ‘Don’t Worry’
Sometimes, it takes very little to make a person feel like the weight of the world is on their shoulders.
That is the idea behind Nickapella and Jahmiel’s latest collaboration, Don’t Worry, an uplifting reggae single that encourages listeners not to allow life’s difficult moments to consume them. For Nickapella, the inspiration came from the everyday situations that can seem bigger than they really are when they happen.
“Sometimes, it’s the smallest situations that can weigh heavily on us, and the song is a reminder not to let those moments consume us,” he said. The collaboration with Jahmiel, he added, came together naturally.
“Working with Jahmiel was also a great experience. The chemistry between us was natural, and we were able to connect creatively and bring the message of the song to life,” Nickapella said.
On the track, the two artistes blend their voices over a reggae backdrop, delivering a message of perseverance and hope, while encouraging listeners to keep pushing through uncertainty and setbacks.
Don’t Worry is one of the featured releases from Nickapella’s forthcoming album, Deeper Than Music. The project explores themes of perseverance, personal experiences, purpose, ambition and the realities of everyday life, offering listeners a deeper look at the experiences that have shaped the artiste.
For Nickapella, the album is about more than simply making music. It is an opportunity to explore the struggles, growth and determination that come with pursuing dreams. And with Don’t Worry, he and Jahmiel are offering a simple reminder — sometimes life gets heavy, but that does not mean the situation will last forever.
