The Star has partnered with Kariblink Digital to bring Sting 2015 to audiences around the globe.

The production promises to have unique features and value-added components, including a complementary six-month subscription to The Star's ePaper, the digital replica of the printed version of the paper, to everyone who subscribes to Sting pay-per-view.

Gleaner Online brand manager Terri-Karelle Reid said: "The Star is Jamaica's leading entertainment tabloid. The Jamaican diaspora, as well as dancehall fans from all over the world, rely on the Star Online for entertainment news, trending topics in the industry, and upcoming events and parties.

"It was the perfect partnership to gift The Star ePaper to subscribers of the live Sting pay-per-view. Now, they will be connected to the People's Paper, no matter where they are in the world."

Under the theme From Then 'Til Now, the Sting line-up this year features a midnight 'tune fi tune' clash between singers Frankie Paul and Half Pint. This will be followed by deejays Burro Banton, Peter Metro and Major Mackerel, as well as the original Three the Hard Way - Brigadier Jerry, Josey Wales, and Charlie Chaplin. Deejays Terror Fabulous, Louie Culture and Frisco Kid will also take to the Sting stage along with Pinchers, Courtney Melody and Little John.

"It is primarily for the international audience. This online partnership will provide the audience with the opportunity to subscribe from anywhere in the world," said Dave Lindsay, Kariblink's chief technical engineer.

Kariblink was also responsible for the streaming production of the Celebration of Life wake and funeral of dancehall artiste J Capri. Visit to sign up.
