D'Angel shines on US tour
International dancehall-reggae sensation D'Angel is back on the island after successfully completing the first leg of her United States tour under the theme, 'We Can Survive'.
The theme is also the title of her brand new single rotating on the airwaves locally and overseas.
The song seeks to address crime and violence, a serious issue affecting Jamaica and the world. She has been receiving much support from her international fans and the Jamaican diaspora.
The 'first lady of dancehall' capitalised on a mini media tour to introduce her new campaign, being not only an entertainer but also an advocate, by raising awareness about the violence especially plaguing women and girls in Jamaica.
She dominated the stage at her first stop in the Bronx, New York, performing alongside Jah Vinci and Black Rhino, where fans witnessed a fiery set.
Others stops were made in Philadelphia, after which the artiste wrapped things up in Houston, Texas, closing each show with a very powerful message of hope for a better future.
D'Angel will be back in the US this May.
