Romain Virgo to close out Appleton Signature Nights 2017
The finale of the 2017 Appleton Estate Signature Nights series is set for tonight, with the headliner act the 'Love Doctor', Romain Virgo.
The new Serengeti Bistro at Hope Zoo in Kingston will be the site of great vibes, as patrons rock to the melodious notes belted out by the reggae and lovers rock singer, backed by acoustic accompaniment from The Unit Band.
His highly anticipated set will bring the curtains down on what has been a truly memorable experience for Appleton Estate Signature Nights attendees throughout the year.
"This year's Appleton Estate Signature Nights has been one of the must-attend event series of the year. We combined a premium entertainment package with the world's foremost rum, and performances by some of the biggest names in reggae music," said Leleika-Dee Barnes, customer marketing manager of J Wray & Nephew Limited.
She continued: "It was fitting to invite Romain Virgo to conclude this year's series, as he has had an excellent track record since the inception of Appleton Estate Signature Nights in 2016, and we expect him to thrill the audience and create lasting memories for our patrons."
Virgo is looking forward to sharing the night with patrons and promises to deliver a 'signature' set:
"I don't get to see my fans in Jamaica as often as I'd love to, so whenever I get the opportunity, I give them 150 per cent of my energy," he said. "The performance will be filled with the best of Romain Virgo from the past and, of course, a little touch of brand new music, including singles from my upcoming album."
Showtime is scheduled for 9 p.m.
