Tifa gets lots of love in North America
Although she is no stranger to the music scene, Tifa is pleased with the love that she received during her mini tour of North America last month.
"The mini tour was very successful. All sold out! All great performances! It was a good look," Tifa said of the tour that ran from April 13 to 26.
Among the areas that she performed at were Queens and Rochester in New York and Connecticut. She also performed in Vancouver, Canada.
While in the United States, Tifa used the opportunity to finalise plans for the release of her debut album as well as a label deal. She also did a photo shoot for the album.
"All in all, it was a very production North American run," she said.
While in Canada, Tifa was the special guest at the launch of CŒROC's new French vanilla flavour at Republic 958.
"CŒROC was launching their new French vanilla flavour and they chose me to perform. It was an honour. The venue was sold out and the fans and the club owners were satisfied," she added.
Now back home after performing in Trelawny on the weekend, Tifa has been busy promoting some new releases. They include Nuttin (produced by TJ Records), Buss a Wine (produced by Dutty Dex), No Regular, featuring Medz (which was number five on the Japan iTunes chart), and Whistleblower with Dutch EDM trio Shermanology.
The first single from her upcoming debut album is also due for release today, May 4.
Tifa is also in preparation mode for her upcoming summer tours in Europe, Africa and North America.
