Young dancehall artiste Taurus Ink has released a trio of songs.

He explores his wild side in Addiction, in which he talks about his girlfriend and their love life in graphic form.

True Love is more on the subtle side, and discusses relationships, jealousy and cheating.

However, Place and Time is a controversial 'gun' track with more of a gangster style.

All three tracks are produced by Josimar Ellis of Blak Yaad Production.

His inspiration for music comes from growing up in Waterford, the community that groomed the likes of dancehall veteran Vybz Kartel.

December could bring a life-changing experience for Taurus Ink as he makes his first overseas trip as an artiste to Canada.

"I'm really excited about this show overseas in December as I want my Canadian fans to see and feel the real Taurus Ink live and in living colour," he said.

The artiste is giving himself three years to become among the heavy hitters on the dancehall scene.

He said: I'm confident that I have the talent and I have put in the work, and in a couple of years, I will take over the dancehall industry by storm."
