The CEOs of Shabdon Records and Hemton Music say they are certain that their collaborative beat, 'Every Hustler' rhythm, is poised to become a dancehall classic.

The rhythm, for which the title track features Vybz Kartel, packs star power with some of dancehall's biggest names, like TeeJay and Chronic Law, also voicing songs.

In an interview with THE STAR, Linval 'Shabba' Thompson Jnr of Shabdon Records, said that Vybz Kartel continues to show his prowess and leads dancehall in substantial ways.

"His song is sending a message to the youth of presumably the 'ghetto' or the less fortunate, to always try to persevere, to hustle to maintain one's self and family and not focus on that which may have some serious consequences," he said. "With other artistes on the riddim like Chronic Law and TeeJay among others, I think Every Hustler riddim has already made an impact on the music scene and will continue to make its stamp in dancehall."

Mario 'Din Din' Hemmings of Hemton Music said that the message behind the rhythm is what will make it a hit.

"It is telling every ghetto youth that as long as you have ambition or you're a go-getter, you can achieve anything you set your mind to. All the artistes on the riddim were excited to be a part of the project and they all delivered and played their part in making it special, and so I strongly believe this will be one of those timeless dancehall beats," he said.

Every Hustler is currently the number 15 trending song on YouTube's local chart, amassing more than one million views since its release on April 16. Chronic Law's track, Program, was released officially on April 23 and is racing towards the 500,000-view mark. It is currently the number six trending song locally. Both Thompson Jr and Hemmings said it was a joy working together and they are happy their collaborative effort is bearing fruit.
