Jahnoia Christie, who now goes by the moniker Queen Danger, always had a knack for music and the performing arts.

As a dancer, she nabbed the dancehall queen (DHQ) title in 2014, following her sister, DHQ TallUp who had won the previous year. While she has always had a passion for dancing, Queen Danger said that she has always had an undeniable magnetism to the musical side of entertainment and believes that she is ready to share her musical catalogue.

For her first release, she dropped the single Sexy Danger on the viral 'Bandulu' rhythm which was released earlier this year courtesy of Levels To Life Production.

"I got booked to dance in Gage's video for his track Melanin, which is also on the Bandulu riddim, and while dancing, it struck me that I would love to record a track on the beat. So I reached out to the producer who immediately set up the session," said Queen Danger. "I got help from Teejay to start the song, after which the producer sent me to his engineer Avikon and writer, Kiko Di Hype 1, who walked me through the session and helped me complete the song and deliver a masterpiece. At the end of the session, I was blown away by the single and how deep it represents me and who I am, sexy, confident, dominant and fierce, but feminine and delicate."

Queen Danger said that making the move to record and to be an artiste was one of the biggest decisions of her life because of the impact it carries.

"I feel that the time is now because I have been on the scene for a long time working around artistes and I have acquired enough knowledge and courage to step out on my own. I am excited about this venture because I can now put my personality into my music and not just my dance and show my fans how versatile I am," she said.

Queen Danger said that her sister has always been her biggest supporter and a major influence.

"While growing up, I would always aspire to be bold and strong like her and I can say her influence definitely shows in both my dance and my music. My wish is that we will one day dominate the music scene as we do the dance scene because we have an energy that is naturally synchronised," she said.
