Visibly touched by the tremendous outpouring of support for her, one-time dancer 'Pinky' was left teary-eyed on Tuesday as she thanked patrons for turning out for her birthday party.

The event, which doubled as a fundraiser aimed at assisting her in her cancer fight, was held at MECA in Kingston, and featured performances from Sizzla Kalonji and Ricky General.

Sizzla's performance was laced mainly with soulful songs such as Thank You Mama, Woman I Need You, and Just One Of Those Days.

Dancehall artiste Ricky General did a cameo performance.

The world immortal Stone Love capped off the top-class entertainment package for the night. Veteran selector Geefus was on point throughout the celebration, but his greatest moment came when he called for family members to surround Pinky. He then unleashed Popcaan's megahit, Family, and this led to many becoming teary-eyed.

Pinky, the sister of Dancehall Queen Carlene, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020. She is now living with stage-four cancer.
