PCF promises Miami flair in Jamaica

Promoters of PCF: South Beach are preparing to mark the event’s 10th anniversary with a Miami-themed poolside experience at Caymanas Golf & Country Club in St Catherine on Friday.

The event, which opens the four-day Greatness Weekend series, is expected to attract both local patrons and overseas visitors seeking holiday entertainment. Organisers say this year’s staging will lean heavily into the atmosphere associated with Miami’s South Beach, combining fashion, music, food and specialty cocktails in a pool party setting.

One of the featured attractions will be the Castle Black Rum Cocktail Bar, where mixologists will prepare a range of signature drinks inspired by Miami’s cocktail culture. The menu includes PCF Pink Sands, Miami Muse, PCF After Dark and Miami Vice 876, each incorporating products from the Castle Black range.

Promoter Curtis Hyatt said the addition is intended to offer patrons a more immersive experience than the traditional party bar.

“We want patrons to experience a taste of Miami without leaving Jamaica,” Hyatt said.

“It’s not just about serving drinks; it’s about the entire cocktail experience, from the presentation and flavours to having mixologists on location creating these special blends. We’re bringing that South Beach cocktail culture to PCF, but with our own Jamaican personality. It’s something different from the usual party bar experience, and we’re excited for patrons to enjoy it,” Hyatt said.

The anniversary staging comes at a time when thousands of visitors travel to Jamaica for Heroes Weekend festivities, creating an opportunity to showcase the island’s entertainment offerings. Hyatt said that, with so many people travelling to Jamaica for Heroes Weekend, organisers want PCF: South Beach to be one of the experiences they look forward to.

“Whether you’re coming from overseas or you’re right here in Jamaica, we’re creating an atmosphere where you can dress up, enjoy great music, have an amazing cocktail, and experience something memorable,” Hyatt said.

PCF: South Beach serves as the opening act for Greatness Weekend 2026, which continues with Recall: Straight Jeans & Fitted on Saturday, CUPS: Château Blanc on Sunday and the Greatness Pink & White Brunch on Heroes Day.
